Pleck Neighbourhood Team Updates

Welcome to the Pleck Neighbourhood Team's update.

Pleck officers have been involved in a variety of issues over the past couple of weeks.

As part of their duties, officers work with partner agencies and local housing associations. Recently, joint work has been carried out in partnership with Walsall Council, to address concerns by local residents regarding noise nuisance. Visits were made to those locations which were responsible for the noise nuisance and ASB all were advised accordingly. 

Pleck officers also work closely with local businesses. You may be aware that shop theft is prevalent with businesses large and small being affected. As well as helping identify and arrest offenders, officers work with businesses to help with crime prevention and reduction of repeat offences. This is done by advising businesses how they can improve their security and theft prevention, carry out regular patrols and visits, sometimes we hold surgeries and coffee mornings within stores to speak to customers and at the same time deter theft.

Community Engagement - Pleck officers have held a surgery at Pleck Library, which is held on a monthly basis to allow local residents to speak to us about their issues.

A reminder too that our next PACT community meeting will be held at Pleck Methodist Church on the 7th October 2025 between 17:00-19:00hrs. Please come along to meet your local officers and other agencies that may attend.
